Unlike traditional talk therapy, ART is designed for speed. Most clients experience significant relief from a specific traumatic memory or phobia in as little as 1 to 5 sessions. This rapid-processing method allows the brain to "reprogram" distressing images without requiring you to talk extensively about the event.
-
A Somatic EMDR Intensive allows us to work through complex trauma in concentrated blocks (3–6 hours) rather than 50-minute weekly increments. This "Deep Dive" approach bypasses the "start-stop" cycle of weekly therapy, often leading to a breakthrough in a single weekend that would otherwise take months of sessions.
-
